The Horses on the Homefront program is designed to benefit the Ventura County children of deployed active duty military personnel. The program is designed to teach the children basic horse care and handling, as well as, beginning riding lessons that provide them with the foundation skills of good horsemanship.  Applicants must be between the ages of 5-17 and have a parent or guardian currently deployed.    Please complete and submit the participation application below.  After we receive this initial application we will contact you with further information.

Thank you for your interest in our Horses on the Homefront riding program. It is important that you understand that being around, working with, grooming and caring for horses and other animals can be a dangerous activity. While in our program it is critical that you and your child follow all the rules, procedures and instructions of the Hogan Family Foundation and its staff.
