The Hogan Family Foundation's equestrian programs are supported by a group of dedicated volunteers making a difference by caring for horses in Southern California. The volunteers help care for the horses in a safe and loving environment.
Volunteers provide the horses with proper, grooming, exercise and socialization.
If you would like to participate in the volunteer program, simply complete and return our on-line application. After we receive your application, a member of our staff will contact you to discuss the volunteer opportunities available.
Our volunteer program operates seven days a week, 365 days a year. Most of our volunteers put in 2-3 hours a week on a regular schedule. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of 4 hours per month. Additional hours and help on holidays are always appreciated, but are not required.
Active Volunteers
Our Equine Volunteers assist children and adults in riding safely. Many of our riders are learning the basics. Volunteers will assist new riders in tacking, grooming, side walking as well as providing moral support & encouragement. Volunteers currently enrolled & actively participating at either our Hidden Valley or Camarillo ranches may view our Equine Therapy Calendars.
